Project Overview

Spider Solitaire sounds simple until you try to make it feel right. Not flashy. Not bloated. Just smooth cards, responsive taps, and that quiet satisfaction when a stack finally clicks into place.

The goal here wasn’t to reinvent solitaire. It was to respect it. We focused on clarity, pacing, and comfort so players could unwind after work or pass the time on a train without squinting, waiting, or fighting the interface. Every animation had a reason. Every sound effect earned its place.

Business Goal

Simple Design Ltd. wanted a dependable, long-session card game that players would return to daily, not because of pressure, but because it felt familiar and calm. Retention mattered more than gimmicks. Ads needed to exist without breaking the flow. And performance had to stay solid across low- and mid-range devices.
